Very good dim sum items, bakery stuff, and very good value. The shark fin dumplings were amazing! Really enjoyed the coconut buns too.

I stopped by Good Mong Kok around 1:30pm on a Friday afternoon and there was a tiny wait - maybe about 15-20 minutes. The line goes by quickly though and they have a bunch of items left at that time. I tried the siew mai, fried dough balls, and a bun. The siew mai was really hood and the fried dough balls were good too. They do get oily if you leave them around for too long, so I suggest you eat them fast. Prices were fair, I got about 4 items for $9.

The first summer I lived in SF for an internship, I stayed at Hotel North Beach in Chinatown. Overall it was a miserable summer and Good Mong Kok was the only saving grace. I would come here nearly every day when they were cash only and buy an exorbitant amount of har gao. I think my record was over 20 which was and/is still reasonable given that the prices are very cheap.
Though no longer cash only, this place still holds up as one of the best to go dimsum restaurants I know of. The long lines outside attest to that fact. I recently went and got a few har gao and rice noodles. I came at the end of the day so the goods weren't as fresh as they usually were but I still enjoyed eating them in a nearby park. I also got a pull apart scallion bread for the first time which was delicious.

Came back because of my previous excellent experience and my return only emphasized my love for their dim sum. Busy as always, there was a line in the middle of the day to get some freshly made dim sum. Favorites are definitely their turnip cake, baked bbq pork buns and pork hash. Prices are still wonderfully cheap/affordable -- would highly recommend picking some up for your next gathering or picnic!

I tried to come here before but the line was too long. This time, the line was not too bad, and it went quickly. I got the pork shui mai, shrimp dumplings, baked bbq pork buns, and don tots. The shui mai was good. The shrimp dumplings were dry but still good. The don tots were good.

Fast service, cheap food, filling, and delicious! There's usually a line but it's worth it, and the wait is always way shorter than you'd expect. Pork buns are HUGE and seriously so affordable.

Their Dimsum is a good way to start the day. Taste is above average and the serving size is quite good. Staff are fine but the line does build up during different parts of the day.
